Three stage exam pattern:-

Stage 1 : preliminary exam : Objective Nature

Paper 1 – GK / GS  Objective type – MM-200 / Time 2 Hours

Paper 2 – law – MM-300 / 2 hours ,

1. History of India and Indian Culture,
   2. Geography of India,
   3. Indian Polity,
   4. Current National Issues and topics of Social relevance,
   5. India and the world, Indian Economy,
   6. International Affairs and Institutions and development in the field of Science and 7. Technology, Communications and Space.

Paper 2 – law

1. Jurisprudence

2. International Organisations

3. Current International Affairs

4. Indian Constitution

5. Transfer of Property Act

6. Indian Evidence Act

7.Indian Penal Code

8. Civil Procedure Code

9. Criminal Procedure Code

10. Law of Contract

Stage 2 : Main examination: Descriptive Nature (written), The candidates for the main examination shall be declared successful in the ratio of 1:10

Paper No 1: General Knowledge

Paper No. 2 Language
(i) Essay to be written in English – 60 M

(ii) English Precis writing – 60 M

(iii) Translation of passage from Hindi to English – M

(iv) Translation of Passage from English to Hindi – M

Paper No. 4 Law-II (Procedure and Evidence)

Paper No. 5 Law-III (Penal, Revenue and Local Laws)
